*Okay Alice had something to say but she's too busy dropping the phone in total surprise right now. Once she regains her wits she'll pick up the phone and start yelling.*
Lancer! But my command spells aren't... never mind! That isn't important! Where are you living? Tell me right away, I'll be right there.
[That was strange--no, more than strange. It sounded like this girl knew him somehow; she'd mentioned command spells, but that was impossible. He only had two Masters in the last war, and this voice didn't belong to either of them.]
[There were a lot more questions to take care of first, so for the moment he just went along with it.]
Yeah. At least, I guess so. I just sort of woke up here.
*Alice was annoyed. Of course she had heard of people coming back droned with their memories wiped but she honestly expected Lancer to stay a drone forever. None of this annoyance surfaces to Alice's voice though. She stays cool, calm, and collected. In fact it's a bit too stoic for someone who's talking about murder and psychological torture.*
You are now in a town called Mayfield. The setting is of America in the year 1959. Additionally you are now stripped of any powers you may have once possessed. You are now human.
*This is said like Alice knows that Lancer wasn't to being with. But she doesn't let her error show, instead she continues on hoping he won't pick up on her minor slip up.*
You may regain her powers and possessions over time or you may choose to sacrifice memories or an organ at the post office for them. Also this town is know for it's ritual torturing and killings of it's residents.
I kind of noticed I was human, strangely enough. Let's assume for a minute that I believe you about the rest. [And he really wasn't sure whether he should or not just yet.]
*Oh well. If Lancer's caught on she can't lie about it. Alice doesn't believe in lying.*
Why would my information be false? What would I gain from making up such an elaborate lie? If you can think of a reason I would like to hear it.
And if you really won't take my free advice about Mayfield there's no way you would believe me when I tell you how I know you... but at least I can prove that part. While these command spells faded they are still in tact. That proves that I am, at the very least, connected to the holy grail war.
I cant think of anything, no. But it's a little hard even for me to imagine a place like you described could even exist.
...Let me guess. You're going to tell me we had a contract. [That seemed like the most logical conclusion, which wasn't saying much. It made no sense, and yet that seemed to be the case judging by what this girl had said so far.]
You should believe what I am telling you, Cu Chulainn. Taking my warning would be... preferred... for your sake at least. I gain nothing from you ignoring or taking my words to heart either way; you are the only one who gains or loses something.
*Alice wants to chuckle and joke back with him but she stops herself. Instead she acts like she doesn't get the joke, like how she would normally act towards a stranger.*
... [This was awkward to say the least. By this point it was obvious Lancer had forgotten a lot of things somehow; he didn't remember this town or anyone in it despite the insistence that he'd been here before.]
Lancer! But my command spells aren't... never mind! That isn't important! Where are you living? Tell me right away, I'll be right there.

Ah, so that's the way it is...
... Forgive my rudeness. You have just arrived, yes?

You're right, that is pretty unbelievable.

[It was very difficult to be skeptical when she called him that.]
Fine. I don't really have a choice right now, do I?
