[Aisling had been out in the backyard when she heard a familiar voice. So she sneaked inside to check it out. Sure enough, it was Lancer. He'd come back, even after what happened...

But he didn't sound like he remembered anything about this place, though she was hoping he would. Oh well. At any rate, Lancer will probably feel a pair of eyes on him.]

...What-?

[He turned, meeting that pair of eyes with a somewhat confused expression of his own. Didn't seem like a threat, but it was hard to tell. Then again, what did he really have to be afraid of if he was hallucinating?]

And...you would be who exactly?

[She was hiding behind the door frame, so now she moves towards him to reveal herself. So he really doesn't remember...she feels a little sad about that.]

I'm Aisling. You were here before, but you probably don't remember me.

[Though she does have a familiar accent...]

Aisling? [There was something almost nostalgic about hearing a name like that.]

Fitting, where I seem to be in something of a dream myself here. What do you mean, I was here before?

Well, sometimes people come here, but then they leave...and then they come back again, but they don't remember that they were here.

Is that right? Sounds like one hell of a strange dream, then.

Mm, it is. But if this is a dream, it's a very long one. I've been here for ten months now...

...You're kidding.

[Either this was a dream or some really confusing afterlife.]

No, I'm not. People are taken here all the time and no one's found a way out...

..I see. [Sort of. He didn't understand it, but he had it worked out if only in concept.]

I suppose I don't need to introduce myself, then.

[Shakes her head.] No! You're Cú Chulainn.

[She's heard other people calling him Lancer, but she never understood why and she never felt the need to call him that herself.]

[The look on his face at that moment probably translated to 'what the hell I don't even.']

Guess you weren't kidding. You must know me pretty well, to recognize me by that name.

That's right! We used to talk a lot.

Do you have any idea how long was I here before? I'd think I would remember something like that.

[Then again, Servants didn't have memories of any other times they had been summoned--was there something similar going on here?]

[Pauses to think] You were here in the summer...and you left last month.

What month is it now? It was winter last I looked, but given all the other circumstances I wouldn't be surprised if that was different here as well.
