I suppose it would be safe to assume Rin and myself were at odds at some point in your Grail war then, Lancer? If pressed I suppose I can guess why: a secondary or backup grail, yes? Furthermore I feel as though I should commend you -- even for a heroic spirit, surviving a strike from the Gae Bolg is an impressive feat.

Regardless. Judging from the... variation I've seen, I am inclined to agree. I'm unsure what exactly to call the other, but it certainly seems less effective.

While I can't speak for the rest of the people from our original locale, I myself found it difficult to ignore the spectacle.

I almost hesitate to add, if it was Archer, it would be strange for him to miss such a thing unless his attention was diverted elsewhere.

If I may be blunt, luck is not a trait I've seen you exhibit vast amounts of. Although in retrospect, that seems to be a commonality between heroic spirits to a certain extent.

Though, I suppose the grail would be less alluring if that was the case universally.

A fact I am well aware of. I recall orders to refrain from open combat being one of many points of contention between the two of us. I assume such is universal among grail wars.
