I bit of fun on my part, I created a list of ninja sayings: sage advice handed down generation upon generation of shinobi on the art of Not Getting Killed. Some are wise, some are profound, most are rather biting in fact.

Advice to Young Genin (Or Words of Wisdoms You Have Heard Everyday In The Academy But Were Too Stupid To Write Down)
1.Never draw fire; it irritates the people around you.
2.Don't think of it as being outnumbered, think of it as a wide target selection.
4.Traps are a vital defense against an enemy but remember where you put them.
5. The point of battle is not to die for your village but to make the other bastard die for his.
6. Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards. -- Ibiki Morino
