FANDOM SNOWFLAKE CHALLENGE - DAY 2
I've made it to day 2, go me! Well, that officially breaks last year's record...
In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. Drop a link to your post in the comments. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom and maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them.
I decided to just rec a few of my favourite vids for this. I can never keep track of what fics I've read and loved, and most of the ones I do remember are well known ones in well known fandoms. But vids I have saved on my hard-drive and rewatch, sometimes obsessively, so this seems like a good bet.
I didn't specifically choose unknown vids in smaller fandoms or anything, I just choose 3 of my very favourite vids in different fandoms that I have rewatched over and over.
1. Babylon 5 - What About Everything (happymevids) - gen, somewhat Sheridan-centric

This vid really just captures the entire show and what it means to me. The music is great and the clips are perfectly chosen to fit the music and it just sums up everything that is B5 and makes me kinda sniffly every time I see it. Spoilers for the entire show.
2. The Avengers - Glad You Came (greensilver and sisabet) - gen

Ok, so I know that these two are the exact opposite of unknown vidders, and this already has tons of comments, but I'm going to pimp it anyway. Because I seriously watched this vid an obscene number of times over the summer, and it never failed to make me smile and have Avengers-related Feelings. I can't even really say why, exactly, other than that the music perfectly fits the clips and the pacing is fantastic and it just WORKS. And there are all these awesome layers to the clip choices that I would notice on rewatches. It doesn't seem like a likely song for a gen Avengers vid, but after I watched it a couple of times I realized how perfectly it works. Because we are glad the Avengers came. :) Also it was the first post-movie Avengers vid as far as I know, and I was SO EXCITED to see a vid that used more than just the trailer and the older movies.
3. Due South - Needful (fenlings) - Fraser gen, also Fraser/RayK

My favourite due South vid for sure - I love the song choice and the clips match the music so perfectly. 'My Skin' has been my Fraser song ever since I saw this vid, because it really captures his character so well. Lots of Fraser-feelings in this vid. :)
