Well, as anyone either from the US or US-tax-owing knows, it's that time of year. I have been sneaking up on doing my taxes. I like to use TurboTax so I can efficiently make my tax mistakes, rather than doing it with a pencil and erasing a lot. The really alarming thing? I've been doing my taxes for 3 days now, a little at a time.
Day 1 - I owed a figure with three numbers to the left of the decimal.
Day 2 - I owed 4 figures to the left of the decimal.
Day 3 - I owed 5 figures to the left of the decimal.
Day 4 - I'm too afraid to open my taxes.....
Nah, it's not that bad, there's no way it can go higher, because I am the "explain WHY you shouldn't have to pay this much" phase and I'm feeling very inventive today.
