People, it is 1:34 a.m. right now and it's 88 degrees F in Yonkers. With the added humidity, it feels like 93.
Today, Friday, it's supposed to hit 102, and with the humidity added it's going to feel like 112. One hundred and twelve degrees, people. I should not be experiencing Arizona's temperatures here in the Northeast! This is all kinds of wrong.
This week I am GLAD I am not working. Going down into a subway tunnel in these temperatures is like entering the hissing bowels of Hell, I kid you not. This is one upside to being unemployed in the summer.
Oh, and I don't miss the way Manhattan smells on days like these. I can't even describe it. Feel blessed you never have to!
