Gorgeous, intelligent, 15-year-old Australian Casey Heynes has been bullied his entire school life for being overweight.
One morning at school he is confronted by his bully, while one of the bully's supporters records the incident on his camera phone.
If you've ever been bullied you may feel your stomach twist in recognition as you watch Casey stand there taking the abuse. You can hear the taunts from the other kids, egging the tormentor on.
And then finally -- as Casey stands there literally getting punched in the face by his bully -- he snaps.
Oh, is it a sight to behold.
I wish I had stood up to my tormentors as a kid, pre-teen, teen...but I was always afraid of the consequences of my actions. I never fought back, which meant, like Casey, I was an easy target. I can understand the slowly building rage that threatens to boil over in day after day of constant harassment and name-calling. I can understand the feelings of helplessness and anguish.
