I wanted to like this game... so much. It has a fantastic setting... it seems like it may have a good story. The game started out strong. The interiors are pretty, good texturing, nice lighting and interesting architecture. The beginning quests are action packed and intense... then you go outside and the world looks like ass... and not that cool, there was just an apocalypse kind of ass, but that low polly, crappy grass popping in shattering my suspension of disbelief ass. And the quests go right to kill me three of these.... I even hoped that might be ok because hey it's a FPS-MMO so killing things should be fun! ...well it is I guess... but not enough fun to make me want to play past the demo. Why oh why can't a game with this kind of theme get the love and polish of a game like Aion or even WoW? In so many ways it was trying to me more innovative...a classless but skill deep game with 6 balanced factions! Ah well I'll just have to wait for the next one... they'll get it right eventually. What I think I really want is for borderlands to be a full fledged MMO...
