Notes: I really wanted to write more! It is so hard to fit as much emotion as I wanted into the few 100 words.
Ron watches as Hermione lists everything she still has to do before the New Year. He thinks she looks adorable with her lower lip pulled between her teeth. He loves it when she does that, and he finds himself fighting off the impulse to kiss her.
Instead, he pulls the parchment and quill from her and scribbles something at the top before passing it back to her.
He fingers the ring he’s carried in his pocket for the past two weeks while she reads what he wrote. When she looks at him curiously, he holds the ring out to her.
