Lessons Learned Lately.......
1. One should not attempt exciting new move on workout video without the proper safety equipment, or she will end up careening across the kitchen floor and crashing into the stove like a bowling ball gone terribly wrong.
2. When a giant (suspiciously fast) brown spider takes up residence in one's living-room, nothing will convince it to leave. Not throwing large pieces of furniture (in an attempt to 'herd' it toward the open door) spraying lysol, insect repellent or even screaming at the top of one's lungs. One must go find neighbor to kill spider because husband won't be home for hours and obviously, spider knows this.
3. When parking her car, one should not try to take advantage of the smallest lot possible thinking she can climb out through the six-inch space between her and a fancy truck. One might become stuck and be forced to wait in shame while fancy-truck-fellow backs out of parking spot.
