I got lucky. Someone from my water aerobics class asked me to follow them home after class today so they could give me a load of leaves. (That was load #10.)
I went home with it, got them spread, and then took a nice nap with some alieve. I woke up feeling a lot better so I went out and got another load of leaves and brought them home (load #11.)
I got home right at dark so I unloaded them right beside the driveway. These leaves will finish out the front of our house and maybe begin mulching the next Japanese Magnolia.
I'd like to leave home early Tuesday morning so that I could pick up another load of leaves before I have to go to my morning fitness class. (I want to beat the trash collectors to them.)
I figure I have maybe one more week in which to pick up leaves before my window of opportunity is gone for the year.
I wish I didn't ache all over. It must be the weather messing with the barometric pressure, as I can't think of anything I might have done to set either my gout or my arthritis off like this.
