Do You Understand The Castle Doctrine Law?

Do you know whether your state has a Castle Doctrine Law or a Duty to Retreat Law or a Stand Your Ground Law? Do you know how your state has worded its law on this and do you understand it?

Forty-five American states have some form of the castle doctrine. Castle doctrines can vary slightly from state to state, with some states narrowing their right to use deadly force against an intruder.

For example, in some states, you must prove that an intruder was attempting to commit a felony.

Also, you should know that Canadian laws concerning self-defense are often quite different from American laws. (It's a really good idea to read up on it before you visit Canada.)

About Mexico....I admit I know little or nothing about the Mexican legal system and the small amount of information I could pick up from Google has done little more than confuse the devil out of me.
