Hooray for Humpday!
After water aerobics class this morning, I called the library and got the techies to agree upon a time for my serger lesson: Next Wednesday at 3 pm!
I barely managed to get off the phone when somebody else I needed to talk to called: Our insurance agent. I paid that bill over the phone, he promised to send me a receipt in the mail, and that's one more thing off my fall chore list.
Other things I need to chase down with a stick in hand:
- Find out exactly WHEN this roofing company wants to come over and do our gutters.
- And, while I'm at it, find out exactly WHEN this same bunch plans on installing our new door. They should have called me already. Particularly since they know we have hurricane rain scheduled to arrive within a few days.
When I'm all done with that set of fuss and feathers, I plan on going outside for a nice relaxing afternoon of truck window-washing (the inner surface) and carpet shampooing.
Ah! That such joy is mine this afternoon!
