BPAL nonsense, nothing to see here
I've finally gotten to try all of the BPAL scents that arrived in my last order. I updated the reviews of Santo Domingo, Jolly Roger, Eos, and Lucy's Kiss, if any of you have a pressing need to read what those smell like on me. I'm pretty amazed that out of the four 5ml bottles I ordered and the 8 imps that the Lab kicked in, there was just one that didn't work on me (and that was more "nice, but not what I wanted" rather than "oh god oh god scrub it off unclean!"), and another that was okay but not great. The rest varied from good to Hot Damn! Santo Domingo and Crawdad Dream were my biggest surprises of the lot, and Tavern of Hell was (unfortunately) a disappointment.
This is all good, because, um... I ordered more. (Just one bottle of Lune Noire, because it sounds divine. We'll see what frimps come with it.)
I had a dream last night that I'd somehow gotten a bottle of Snow, Glass, Apples, and that it stank horrifically (though just at the very end, I could smell some nice green apples.) I'll take that as my brain trying to console me for not buying it. :P
