(no subject)
I'M FINALLY 17! ONLY ONE MORE YEAR UNTIL I'M 18!!!!!! YAY! :)
even though I had school, today was okay. my gifts as of yet were a camera from my mom and a cherry pie (yes, i'm weird and i eat pie instead of cake...i like it better) and then when my dad got off of work, he took me shopping. he was gonna take me anywhere i wanted (except for expensive jewelery stores, obviously) and we ended up getting me a new bike since mine is too small for me and i badly needed a new one. that way, i can ride bike with him this summer and also with Troy. otherwise, i have to wait to get my other gifts because my sister is still at college and will be down tomorrow night.
I'm excited. i get to celebrate my birthday and a month anniversary with Troy tomorrow! yay. He gets to help me cook Thanksgiving dinner (well, prepare some of it anyway) tomorrow though, that will be fun *devilish grin*. And then maybe we're going to dinner/lunch or both and i have no idea where he's taking me, but that's ok, it just makes it that much more special. :) I should try to see if we could go shopping and go to the mall and everytime we pass someplace that has pretty jewelery in it, say it's pretty and i want... *devilish grin X 2* hehe.
Last night was our first orchestra concert and it was really good. i messed up on my string ensemble songs/solo (it was a quartet so we each had our own parts so it was kinda a solo) but that's ok, it still sounded right. My dad, Mitch and Troy's sister and dad came to see it. I think i was more excited about wearing my new shoes that i got for it than the concert itself. although, we were playing in a really cool place. We got to play at the Orpheum Theatre downtown and it was really neat to hear the sound we produced. we actually filled the whole hall! yay.
