so today i went to a specialist doctor to get my shoulders examined and it turns out that i have a rare condition called crepidis. in his 17 years of practicing i was about one out of a dozen cases he'd seen of it. there are fluid pockets in my scapula that make that popping sound and inflame the muscles around it, causing the pain that i so often moan and groan about. it isn't anything serious but i do have to go to physical therapy 3 days a week for 4 weeks. i'll do exercise to rebuild the muscles, get deep tissue (painful) massages to adjust the problems, and electric sensor something. i'm sort of scared, but i've delt with it for about 6 years now, ill be glad to rid of it. he said that the popping sound wont go away but hopefully most to all of the pain will. i went to my normal doctor last week and it also turns out that i have a slight case of scoliosis and asthma, but no signs of ADD, ADHD, bipolar, depression, or breast cancer. and i'll never get menanjitis (phonetic spelling, sorry) or dyphtheria tetnis thanks to some shots.
so my dreams of playing for the red sox or a professional hockey team are pretty much dead, but there's still hope for my morning jogging career next year in boston.
peace, love, and good health to all.
