Currently at Carrisa & Joe's. Was getting my paws done as well as some pics of Salen in the wild.

Was about to leave and the car wouldn't start. Not the battery so its probably the starter. I wish I brought my sketch pad since I'm waiting for my dad to show up.

Watching mythbusters and chatting in the meantime.

1. Got a phone call from tevon last night. I hadn't seen him online the last few days, and it seems he had ended up in the hospital because of diabetic somethingorother. Guess who AIM'd me today? barragezero. He's fine and currently hanging out in Bahrain. So yeah, he even asked me what sub collided with them, and I let him know it was the Hartford. I heard on NPR today that the submarine USS Hartford and USS New Orleans collided yesterday afternoon. Oh dook.

The USS New Orleans is the boat barragezero is on. Oh dook oh dook.

barragezero called me today. I think he was in Guam. That's where he was heading after Hawaii anyways. He just had a few minutes to talk. He did get a chance to check out LXF at an internet cafe while he was there, and so yeah, go team.

Well, sulinpanda and carlfox dropped in yesterday. I gave offerings of iPod Nano to Sulin, who was wanting to have something to listen to as she was on a treadmill or something, after all, I didn't need it. My new 16 gig Nano pretty much outclassed my old 2 gig'er, and I figured someone should get some use out of it ( Read more... )

Got home, and got to talk with wynther_knight a bit, so I'm feeling better knowing he's ok. I'm not looking forward to when barragezero goes onto deployment in January, though. But for now, I'm good.

It's been sort of a hectic week to start with, and it's only begun. I'm worried about wynther_knight.
