I love that icon. Especially since I am sitting here after being rudely booted from Shadowhaven server and now they are all down. Unscheduled down! lol Ok, breath Coyote.

I didn't play eq so I don't know much about the spires other than picking up tidbits here and there. I noted in one of the letters on EQ2 that live event is coming up pretty soon. Said something about for those who missed helping on the griffin towers you don't want to miss this. My toon is nowhere near able to go to where you are talking about. Hope there is something for us to do as well.

I'm glad you wrote something about heroic mobs. I used to take some, not all, of them on solo. I'll remember that so I don't get properly thrashed.

A note on the spires… Apparently they will be part of a griffin tower sort of event, and they involve this “Essence of Sky” item that has been dropping off random creatures lately. It is No Trade, Lore, and No Value. I’m sure it has something to do with the expansion, and probably rebuilding the spires, so if you loot one be sure to hold on to it.

Funny you should mention that essence of sky. When the server went down I was in Nek. I had just killed a shadowman and that was one of the loots. I didn't get a chance to click loot before the server went down. I have to go find another.
