Lost...Now Found
What the shit, it's been too long! Damn, I've missed so much (eg. next installment to the DC Series by annerbhp , if you are for some reason the only person on Earth that hasn't read that fantastic series, you better get on it).
Anyway, so I started my job a few weeks ago, which is why I've gone missing, and I get home every day, look at my computer and think, "Oh, the good ole days when I had nothing to do and got so much more done." Now, I'm so tired I check my email and ignore the poor thing for the rest of the night. Oh, and writing?? Haha, talk about luxury! I've never looked forward to weekends as much as I do now...
The job's not as bad as I thought it would be; get paid too much to do so little, so I'm definitely not complaining. Besides, the extra I'll just consider compensation for working for The World's Worst Boss. No, really, it's that bad. She's a minute watcher and a nag and a micromanager. The up side is, the rest of my coworkers are great. They treat me with respect, help me out when I need it, and never once called me Probie (which, technically, I am). Every one of them is married with kids, so I kind of get mothered too, lol.
Then there's the boss...a sedistic terror that sees every flaw and not one success. Doesn't matter tho, it's not like it's my dream job so she can go ahead and rip my shit to shreads and I'll sleep fine. Just a job, right?
Anyway, I'm getting more settled every day, and I just got my desk set up so my computer will have a new home and will hopefully
get some more attention. I've got pages of junk to work thru and maybe something new will be posted! Yay, go me.
Okay, I'm done rambling now. Just thought I'd show some love to my LJ, it is Valentine's Day (oh what a lame holiday) after all.
