Forlorn Love
Tarzan finished packing. Ever since Esmeralda, his own true love, had been lost at sea, Tarzan had been freezing.
There was nothing left for him anymore, nothing hurted him, all was frustrated. So today, Valentine's Day, he was going on a street to become a lonely unanswered message.
Just then, there was a depressed knock at the door. Tarzan opened it and stood there angerily for a moment, before falling to the floor in a swoon and bruising his arm.
When Tarzan came to, Esmeralda was holding his leg and looking souless. "My love," Esmeralda said lonelily, "I'm sorry for the awkward shock. I've been shipwrecked on an empty island for the last ten years, living like a sloth crawling its way to loneliness. I was only rescued last week." She paused. "I lost my chest in the wreck. Can you still love me?"
Tarzan could hardly believe his Esmeralda had returned. "I will always love you, chest or no chest. Besides, you can cover it up with a divorce papers."
They embraced frustratedly and vowed to never be parted again.
And all was sad.
