nontacitare is on her way out of town (or into town, for many of you) for the weekend to go to an academic conference. I'll have the house to myself until Sunday evening.
What will I do?
Well, one thing I'll probably do is listen to all the new music that just arrived for me. Last weekend I paid off a bunch of bills, and decided I could afford to catch up on my indie-music wishlist that has grown so much in the past ten weeks (though some of this had been pending for a couple years now). The tunes started arriving yesterday, about 10½ hours' worth
so far....
Yesterday brought a nice big box from
CDBaby. About half was stuff that had sounded good on a sampler CD they sent with a
previous order a couple years ago, and half was stuff that I just discovered recently. Quite a varied selection of sounds here.
