I've long been involved in
Prince Edward Island's
Scouting movement, as a Scout in my own right and as the son of a scoutmaster. On my trip last summer to Prince Edward Island, I joined my parents in visiting
Camp Buchan, Prince Edward Island's only scout camp.
Located on the Island shore of the
Northumberland Strait roughly a
half-hour's drive southeast of Charlottetown, Camp Buchan is a beautiful place. This August day I was particularly lucky, since it was low tide. So much more was revealed.
