I stopped by Safeway this evening to get beer....
Ahead of me in line was a guy checking out...
Checker: "Okay first swipe your Safeway card....then your Debit/Credit card.... press debit, then enter your pin.."
Guy: "umm, I don't think I know the pin"
Checker: "that's okay, just hit Credit, and sign your name"
sign.... print, print,
Checker: (reads receipt) " thank you Mr. Roberts, ... oh, ... I mean Mr. Fernandez".
Guy: "Thanks" .. picks up bags and leaves.
umm... umm... obviously the name on the Safeway card and Credit Card DIDN'T MATCH! And this guy sure wasn't Hispanic. :)
Sure there could be a prefect explanation for it, but she didn't even ask for ID when he used the credit card...,
