I hadn't intended on making it almost a year between entries, but then again I hadn't intended on it taking me five years to get through college either. Better late than... oh never mind. Since my last posting there have been many important life developements. First off, I do have a college degree now. And what may you ask does one do with a degree in theater... why wait tables of course. Since May I have been working at Abuelo's Mexican food Embassy (the Embassy part makes the job sound a little more official). It's been ok, the people I work with are all dysfunctional in thier own deliteful ways, but they're good people. Waiting tables has also been a very enlightening experience and probably one that I won't repeat once I'm gone. Which brings me to my next point. ::segue:: Sometime in September I will be moving to Chicago with John Olson, one of my friends from high school who was a theater major at IU. Hopefully with the connections that we have both gained by going to different colleges we'll be able to give eachother a leg up while we attempt to make it in the big city. We're looking at places to live in the Lakeview and Wrigleyville areas, so if anyone has any inside info on some great domiciles please feel free to let me know.
In other news:
Lovelife - still non-existent, though all of the girls at work who do have boyfriends all wonder why I'm still single (hmmm).
Family - as stable and boring as always, a constant in an ever changing world
Friends - don't get to see enough of them
Financial - I'm making money, and my loans are all consolidated. Yay for life after college.
Artistic - currently stunted, and on hold.
Everything else - one word... Meh
