I hate fireworks passionately

I am shocked to say it, but I actually had a pretty good day.  I got in a good workout, which doesn't happen nearly as much as I'd like.  I frequently succumb to lightheadedness, extreme tiredness, or something else before long.  I then went to the VH1 pool and read my chapter on cleft lips and palates, then I studied for anatomy and made flashcards for this week's quiz.  Mathew called and joined me at the pool, and Jeffrey and this woman who recently moved in named Megan came eventually as well.  Jeffrey left to go buy burgers and brats for Megan to cook, which of course meant that I wouldn't be eating anything.  I was really surprised when he returned and had purchased a spinach and feta chicken bratwurst and a teriyaki turkey burger for me.  That was sweet of him.  I had made him dinner and brought it to him at the store the other night, so I was pleased that he thought of me while shopping to show that he appreciated it.

So, we hung out in Megan's apartment for a while and she cooked everything.  Jeffrey also procured some O'Doul's non-alcoholic beers for the two of us, which was thoughtful as well.  I really liked Megan; she was easy to get along with.  I'll probably see her pretty regularly throughout the summer at the pool and at Jeffrey's apartment.

I then returned to Purgatory to eat.   I was very pleasantly surprised that Mohamed from my anatomy class called me and talked to me for a few minutes.

I actually got about half of my dishes washed, made some turkey chili for the next few days, and ironed a few shirts.  I got in a good amount of recreational reading at the pool.  I spent time with friends, worked out, and made one of my periodic  visits to my parents.

But of course the most constructive thing that I did today was sit at the pool for hours.  I picked up a great tan.
