Generally quite insightful

or,

Of which I speedily partook

Another man in his 40's gave me his phone number at work yesterday.  Hurray.  If I were into men, and for that matter, if I were into 40 year old men, I suppose that I'd be in luck.

Yesterday, I had to return to Purgatory to have a family picture taken.  I of course had a martini and a manhattan before I went, and I promptly hit the Tanqueray that I bought for my father as soon as I arrived.  By the time I left, I packed in two glasses of wine and some more gin.  Gracious. I was so tired when I got home at around 7 PM that I elected to take a brief nap, maybe an hour or so. Needless to say, I didn't manage to set my alarm clock correctly, so I wound up sleeping for three hours instead.  Of course, I was unable to sleep after that, so I stayed up until 3 AM reading.

In one of the dreams I had last night, I was at work, and Steven and Sommer were there.  They knew that I was very upset, and they kept telling me to call the 800 number (Charter One's customer service line) to get my problem taken care of.  Finally, I went over to Steven near the vault and pushed him down, saying "Don't you see? I'm upset because I lost my best friend! We haven't talked in a month!"  Etc. etc. My dreams are generally quite insightful about the things that are presently causing me the most anxiety.

I went to the Y before my shift and intended to do cardio, and then I was going to lift while I was working.  I got through 40 minutes of cardio, when I suddenly felt so sick to my stomach that I was on the verge of vomiting. I have no idea what that one was about.

Every single time I go to the Kroger at 13 and Woodward, I inevitably run into someone I know. Tonight, I saw four people I know. Thankfully, one of them was Michael, my bartender from D'Amato's.  The meeting was rather fortunate, as I intended to purchase some red wine. I had him recommend a suitable bottle for me, of which I speedily partook when I arrived home. (After a rather desperate run next to CVS to acquire a corkscrew.)
