A fit of sneezing

or,

Conversating wildly

Mohamad came over yesterday so that we could do our speech science homework.  He came in, petted the cats, and shortly thereafter had a incredibly red eye and a fit of sneezing.  I asked how long it has been since he's been around cats, and he said it's been a long time.  Well, congratulations, you're officially allergic to them.

We interrupted ourselves to get dinner at Beirut Palace.  Faleh was there, a Tunisian guy whom I knew from the bank.  I had given his daughter a savings bond shortly after she was born, and the child is 20 months old now! It seems like she was just born.  Man, time flies when it's somebody else's life.  Faleh and Mohamad were of course conversating wildly in Arabic as if they'd known each other their whole lives, but that's to be expected I guess.  Like I knew he would, Mohamad insisted on paying.  This guy is too nice.  I paid with my credit card, but he shoved the money for it in my pocket.  Later, I surreptitiously put the money back in his coat pocket, so let's see where it goes from here.

I later went to see Epic Movie last night.  It looked so funny in the commercials. It wasn't.  It ranked among one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Jeffrey had given me a Meijer gift card that had 45 cents left on it, knowing that I of all people wouldn't let it go to waste.  I stopped there last night and purchased, among other household items, an awesome new fruit basket.

The coils in the center are kind of springy, further contributing to this fruit basket's awesomeness.

Adeeb always closes his eyes in pictures.

Next, I went to the Inn Place.  Wow, it was a mess.  I didn't get there until about midnight, and there was this group who had been there drinking since the beginning of the football game at like 6.  They were rowdy.  Leah ran up to me and put her hands on me, so I picked her up in a huge hug.  Paul came to hug me before he left and he put way too much beard on my neck.  I got a very unpleasant chill running down my whole body.  Remember that I am afraid of beards.  Gayle hugged me, Danielle (formerly known as The Hot Mess) put her hands all over me, and so on.  Danielle had dated Mathew for a while, then she left him and has been with a woman named Paula ever since.  Go figure.

I woke up this morning with Adeeb kneading my back.  God bless him.
