She loves her some Kevin
or,
I'll actually pay for it
So. Today, I went to my CPR class at the Y. It was chiefly entertaining because Durodgio sat next to me, and he is not in his right mind. We of course had a constant flow of side conversations going. During our break, I went upstairs, and I ran into a lady named Tracey who used to work there. She's in her 40's, and she loves her some Kevin. She said that she heard how I had shaved my head, and that I look amazing. She kept going on about it. I look so good bald, and my body is so nice, etc., etc. This exchange was shortly after Sanaa, an older Chaldean lady told me how good I'm looking, since I'm more muscular and so tan. As much as I hear it, it never gets old.
For anyone who is unattractive, try being attractive for a while. I daresay that you'll like it.
One topic that came up last night whilst I was conversating with Kathryn and Evarist was the movie "Pirates." Kathryn was talking about how she saw it at the video store, and it's a ripoff of Pirates of the Carribbean, except it's porn. Not exactly, I found. I happened to go to Hollywood Video today, as I decided to reindulge in the hobby I picked up months ago of watching movies. I found Pirates and added it to the two classics I was renting. I had heard the name before; it was recommended by "Men's Fitness" magazine. It was, of course, an excuse to show the tits of some porn stars with some scant semblance of a plot. Being R-Rated, however, it didn't exactly qualify as pornography.
My other new hobby is taking baths. I went next door to CVS to obtain some bubble bath, which is not as bubbly as I seem to recall from years back. The reason I began it was that I was told by a Ginger masseuse that bathing with epsom salts can help ameliorate muscle soreness. When I woke up this morning, I thought that I would die because the area under my shoulder blades hurt so badly. I can't figure it out; if it were simply from sleeping the wrong way, I would doubt that it would be so perfectly unilateral. On the other hand, I haven't worked out my back muscles for about a week. A mystery. I had three different women at the Y massage my back, but I also decided to try the epsom salt bath thing again. Needless to say, my back still hurts.
I called Mohamed the other day, the one from my anatomy class. He couldn't talk for long because he was working, but I was shocked to see that he called me back yesterday. I'm not used to people doing that.
I called Wleid, a Lebanese customer of mines, the other day to ask after him and his wife. They're expecting their first child soon. He was at work when I called him, but he called me today. I'm not used to people doing that. I love Wleid. He is such a nice guy, and he has one of those smiles that just makes you feel good.
Speaking of Lebanese folk, Ameer is getting fat. Carol said that he looked a lot bigger from the first time she saw him, which was the day I brought him home. Adeeb is such a sweet boy. I love these cats so much and don't realize how I made it before I had them. They might open all of my cupboard doors whenever I'm not home, leave everything covered with fur, and entangle themselves in my legs constantly, but it makes it worthwhile now that I wake up everyday with both of them sleeping next to me.
My new favorite thing is Christina Aguilera's new album. Carol told me that Justin Timberlake said that she is the most talented artist of his generation, which I'm really starting to believe is true.
But, my new favorite song is "Call me when you're sober," (possibly for obvious reasons) by Evanescence. That bitch can sing. The album comes out October 3rd, and I like them so much I think that I'll actually pay for it.
