Gardening

Went to Lowes and Holubs this morning with Mike and got everything from plants to clothesline. Wow, $115 goes really fast these days! Got some pretty annuals to plant in the front of the house and hope to use up the seed packets that I have here. Jean and Norma have give me lots of shade perennials and the back by the new screen house is looking nice. I'm going to raid the old twinkle light pentacle downstairs and use the extra white twinkle lights outside in the screen house for night time.

Tomorrow, hoping to go to Ledges with Gina and Jose and Tra's family for Mom Day and make the guys grill and cook while the gals lounge and have a good time.

Worked a LOT on Mike's forearms getting the muscles released and relaxed yesterday and today. Icing, then massage, then a muscle rubbing compound and ibuprofen. He took some flexeral last night to really get the muscles relaxed in his sleep. While he slept well and woke up groggy, I don't see that the muscles benefited all that much from the flexeral. The ice and massage seem to be doing MUCH more.

Will cook up some shrimp and put them in the fridge to cool in a moment for later. Then its outside to work on putting in all the plants and putting up the clothesline so I can do my dyeing later this week.

Work work work. Ah well, tis spring and what gets done now can be enjoyed all summer long!

Thanks to EVERYONE who helped with the fundraiser. I put over $1000 in the bank in to Kat's medical savings account this week and thus far, just the books alone that I've sold have netted us another $115. I still have about 60 books left to sell plus all the ebay items! Woo hoo!
