I think I've figured out what it is about romance in stories that I don't like. Because I obviously love the stuff. And it's "friends that become lovers" that I absolutely despise but I love the concept or so very much. So why do I feel such hate for how it's usually done.

( maybe? spoilers for doctor who up to the 6th series. but i doubt that, considering my flist. though if you don't plan on watching doctor who, please go ahead )
