MOM CAME HOME TODAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. <3

Mom's doing great! Yaay! She may come home tomorrow, even. <3 Technically she got the kidney from a living donor, so it's been very good to her thus far. :D

....uuugh, I feel like I may have gained ten pounds this week alone. Fucking hospital. 0h well. I guess that goal is shot. Gotta keep on keepin' on.

Bottom line: Mom is having a kidney transplant today and I'm scared out of my mind.. A lady at her church died from her liver transplant only a few days ago. And I'm angry that no one seems to understand that I'm freaking out.

I'm also a bit cranky and i feel bad about that.

The men in my family are fucking crude.

Well, it got much better when we finally exchanged gift, and we exchanged not-pologies, I suppose. He's still a jerk, though.

And if I hear my uncle call slingbacks "Come Fuck Me Pumps" one more time, I'll scream. It's not funny the first time. Saying it thirteen more times won't help.

I have official Slayers DVDs, though, so..that helps!

Mom says she's going to work ONLY to get stuff she can work on at HOME and come back. She PROMISES. That's the ONLY REASON I AGREE TO GO WITH HER AND NOT HIDE THE KEYS OR ANYTHING. One, she should be resting, and two, it's A FUCKING HEAT WAVE ( Read more... )

The awesome things is that it's been very slow and she does NOT require dialysis at moment.
