No more World of Warcraft for me

Games.

They are what I do to keep my brain from getting too soft when I'm in the mood for some level of competition, problem solving, and wanting-to-see-shit-blow-up-or-get-hacked-in-half.

When I was growing up I would come out of the Space Port arcade in the Cumberland Mall completely red faced and overwhelmed from the sensory input.

At home I had Pong. Then Atari 2600. Then Nintendo in High School into college. Then PlayStation in my first apartment when I moved out. Then PlayStation 2. Then (after years of resisting owning a home computer for fear that it would be a black hole for my free time) my first PC game: World of Warcraft.

You see, I strategically fill my life with multiple pursuits that would swallow all of my time if they were not competing against each other and forced to divide up the pie that is my overstuffed life.

That was a very well designed game. And enough is enough.
