Still Newlyweds
Anyone can be romantic. It takes true lovers to be really silly.
I had said that I would remove the "Just Married" cling sticker from the back window after we'd been married a year, but I have changed my mind. I'm just going to leave it there as long as it stays or as long as we have the car. Either way.
We were going to make this fancy steak in pomegranate sauce on our anniversary, but we were out doing stuff - buying books, mostly - and got hungry. We hadn't even been to the grocery store yet, so we ended up getting pizza and eating it at home. We did eat Chinese food by candlelight the night before though. Yesterday, we went to the grocery stores, and got what we needed for the fanciness, so tonight we'll have the steak with potato and apple gratin, and I think green beans amandine. Oh, and a homemade apple pie, since we picked 17 lbs of apples this weekend!!
