Touya managed to stifle another groan as he stood stiffly for the nth time, trying to keep his temper intact. His legs were already aching from standing for hours now and his arms had gone numb from carrying that violin all day. Didn't they know that he played the piano, not the violin? He might know a lot of things but that didn't mean that he could play every instrument in the orchestra too. Plus, to add to his growing discomfort and annoyance, he was wearing a dark suit while outside the comforts of their building, under the blazing sun.
It had been raining the entire week and now the sun was up and the sky was clear? Unbelievable. The entire cosmic universe just had to make the sun shine only for this day, hadn't it?
He rolled his eyes inwardly again, groaning, as another flash blinded him. Why had he agreed to this again? Ah, yes, that's right. It was all Yukito's idea. Yukito, who had promised to help the Photography Club for their festival booth, had managed to dragged him into this, erm, mess.
Well, there wasn't exactly any other way to appropriately describe the situation he was into at the moment. The silver-haired boy had suddenly came up to him with a smile and asked him if he could do a favor with him for the Photography Club. And being the 'nice' guy he was, he agreed without even asking what the favor was.
Typical him when it came to Yukito. He just couldn't find the courage to say "No."
So, it was all Yuki's fault. If it wasn't Yukito who had asked him, just some random friend from the Photography Club, he would've flatly refused. No matter how 'nice' he was, he just wouldn't agree to something as ridiculous as this, even as a small favor.
But to his disdain, it just had to be Yukito who asked him. He could never refuse the young man's pleading smile and he had a sinking feeling that the girls from the Photography Club knew this little detail too.
"One more shot, Kinomoto-san. Please keep still."
Touya gritted his teeth, turning slightly to the photographer, unconsciously turning on his death glare. The death glare which was usually only meant for the kaijuu's boyfriend. "You've been telling me that since morning."
"Oh, don't be so grumpy, Touya," Yukito's voice cheerily floated over him and the chestnut-haired young man shot him a flat stare. Then again, at least he wasn't wearing an elaborate prince's costume just like that of Yukito's. Even that looked warmer than his own costume.
"See? The girls all love you, Touya."
Then, as if on cue, the girls around him, from the visitors from his dad's university down to Seijou's own female population, started squealing, "I want a picture with Touya-kun too!". Touya groaned yet again as the photographer sheepishly asked him once more to pose for them after another girl had taken seat on a chair beside him.
He really wouldn't hear the end of this, would he?
"Onii-chan?"
Touya found himself staring down at his younger sister who stared back at him, a confused glint in her emerald eyes. Beside her, grinning smugly at him, was her bratty excuse for a boyfriend, Li Syaoran. Then, on Sakura's other side, was Daidouji Tomoyo, capturing his every minute as a violinist on tape.
"Oh, Sakura-chan!" There came Yukito again, walking over brightly to the three sixth graders. "Would you like to take a picture with Touya here?" Touya, who was making silent signals to his best friend, was promptly ignored by his best friend.
"Or maybe you, Tomoyo-chan? Or perhaps, Li-kun?"
Yes, he really would never hear the end of this.
