KARL BLAU w/ FRENCH QUARTER & WOOL GATHERING on JUNE 19 @ the TRUNKSPACE
You will not want to miss this one folks! Karl Blau just released 'Beneath Waves' on K records, and his musical chops have appeared on records by the Microphones, Jason Anderson, Little Wings, Calvin Johnson, Laura Viers, Mirah, and is one third of the band D+, a collaboration between Bret Lunsford (Beat Happening), Phil Elverum (Mt. Eerie/Microphones) and Karl himself. Also, for the past two years, Karl has been running Kelp! Monthly, a service that provides subscribers with a new album every month that includes music by Karl bands he is producing.
The show is on June 19th at the Trunk Space (1506 NW Grand Ave) and it starts at 9pm sharp. Admission is $5.
