So in a fit of silliness I decided to make school related icons. There are only five because I got bored and wanted to work on my still unfinished batch of LOTR icons. I also need to get back to doing homework. However, I needed a break. Anyways...

Sorry that I haven't updated in awhile. Things haave been a little crazy. This morning I took the PSAT or "National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test." It seemed pretty easy to me, but I tend to do worse than I expect on those things, so I'm not counting my chickens quite yet. I have to write an essay relating myself to a character in Beowulf or Grendel. For those not familiar, Beowulf is an English classic epic poem and Grendel is John Grisham's interpretation. Well, it's been bright all week, really. This week has been pretty eventful. What with the disaster in New Orleans and such. I don't know what to make of the disaster down there. Is it just me, or is this theory a little bit weird? It bothers me that a lot of it is arbitrary. My Chem book spent at least a couple of paragraphs emphasizing that it was just a "model" and that it was based on a lot of "assumptions." So I'm taking Advanced Chemistry this year. We've started quantum mechanics. The concept doesn't seem all that difficult to me right now, but I am sort-of shocked that all of this could have been "hiding" in the pseudo-chemistry I've done in my past science courses.
