Okinawa
I'm thinking of doing an Inquiry project on the battle of Okinawa. I don't know what posessed me to do something like that. In general, history is my worst subject. However, senior year I will have much better credentials and therefore a much better chance at getting a good mentorship at a hospital, so maybe an inquiry isn't such a bad idea for next year. Then there's the fact that my grnadmother was on Okinawa during the battle. My family history is tied to that little island, so it would be interesting...
I got a 100% on my science quiz today. Hooray! Soccer practice got cancelled because of the crappy weather and tomorrow I have to be up at the crack of dawn to be a ball girl for the Varsity tournament. Ah well, at least then I'll be up and will have plenty of time to work on my history paper. The prompt, if anyone cares, is here.
