Extended Weekend And Future Plans
I am quite excited because I am going home for a long weekend today. I haven't been home for a full weekend, let alone a long one, for at least a month. I usually have soccer practice on Saturdays. But not this week. It will be extra nice because I just finished a history paper, so I don't have that pressure on me anymore. Only 17 days of class left. *wOOt* Summer break, here I come! I'm bringing a lot of stuff home this weekend. Otherwise, I'll end up having a ton of junk to bring home on move-out day. It kind-of accumulates over the course of the year.
Housing placements come out next friday. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm almost positive that B and I will get to be roomies, but we really want to quad with C and K. I hope the people who get put in our wing are cool. We were pretty lucky this year. I really can't believe that I'm going to be a junior. It seems like only yesterday that I was moving in. The new sophomores will be getting their acceptance letters pretty soon. It will so weird to not be the youngest anymore.
I'm applying for yearbook staff next year. I think I'll apply for photo editor. I like taking and editing pictures. C is applying for layout editor. I hope we both get positions, that would be awesome. I just hope I'll ahve time for it. I'm pretty confident though. Also, they just started a math and science journal on campus. That should be interesting. I think I might apply for copy editor. I'm usually pretty good at catching grammar mistakes. That was pretty much the only reason I was interested in reading my old school's newspaper: it was sometimes amusing to correct its countless mistakes.
