Book recommendation

Hush, hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
I hesitated before recommending this book because I don't think it's perfect but I still enjoyed it tremendously and was up until 3am yesterday to finish it (I read it in two nights). It is a young-adult novel and I only heard of it last week for the first time but ordered it straight away since I wanted something fun to take my mind off from my studying and it worked. It's a bit crazy and well... teenager-like but it's really worth it if you want something entertaining. It's also a bit obvious Twilight happened along the way but why should it be a problem ? (don't answer to this please!).

It's a classic high-school, random-girl-turned-into-heroin vs mysterious-boy-with-dark-secrets story but there are definitely some very good ideas (a very smart use of a biblical myth) and it's funny and also very exciting. Everything happens very fast and even though the cover (very good cover by the way) gives away a few things, you don't necessarily connect everything immediately. Even though it has a lot of the usual elements from YA novels, it still manages to be original and exciting to read.

And I just read there's a sequel coming out this year. You really should give it a try !
