Where I just say anything I want to say

1. I just showed a picture of Alexander Skarsgård post-season 1 with his short hair to my Mother and she choked on the sweet she was eating. That's a true story.
2. One thing I love about the university is that you can organise your time yourself and skip some classes (!). Yesterday I spent the day writing an essay on the British Prime Minister.
3. I started the fourth book of the In Search of Lost Time series yesterday, Sodom and Gomorrah. I'm still very excited but oh! why does it have to be so huge ?
4. I'm sad I almost lost interest in Gossip Girl. The last episode was enjoyable but it was the first good one in a very long time.
5. I finally found Jonathan Safran Foer's new book last Monday. Even though it's not a third novel and I don't really know what to expect I'm very curious and it can only be good, right ? I bought this one with The View from Castle Rock by Alice Munro (recommended by sullypants!) and I got it for free since the salesman only counted Foer's Eating Animals. I felt so bad that's why I had to confess this here.
6. Feel like re-reading The Bell jar and The Road but Proust keeps me busy enough.
7. I still haven't bought a 2010 calendar. I do love a pretty calendar with a new thing to look at every month. I have to say that I'm trying to be reasonable with all the Christmas shopping I did this month. I'm already done, though which is a relief.
8. I've been doing a E.R. marathon for the last few months. It's been really enjoyable but Dr Doug Ross left in the episode I watched last week and I don't really know what to do with myself anymore. I read that very cool quote from Sex and the City the other day where Carrie says "Clooney's like a Chanel suit, he'll always be in style". So right.

9. Finally and most importantly Bon voyage Jen traversant ! I'm going to miss you until you can find an Internet connexion again. I'll wonder how things are until then ! May Jacob keep you very good company on the plane !

er, jonathan safran foer, george clooney, gossip girl, true blood, university
