Anyhoo, we got back the latest mixes of the Revel Moon CD last night from Andrew, the studio engineer, and I'm pretty happy with what I've listened to so far. More bite than earlier mixes, I think, and more driving. Hopefully we'll be sending it off to mastering soon, and then it'll be time to *finally* release the CD. Yay!
Speaking of Revel Moon, I looked through the website and realized that I seriously need to update the page. Since we've all moved on to new projects, the RM page should point people to the new stuff. However, Cassandra Syndrome is only mentioned once, on the 'Gigs & Things' page, and the link actually points to our *old* MySpace page, which we don't even own anymore since we got the *new* MySpace page. Ah, well, another project for the weekend, methinks.
Did some updates on the CS page last night, too. Updated the front page, the shows page (we've got a lot more shows coming up than I realized), and added the Pagan Band Jam link to the links page. I also tried a new edit of the tracks from the Midsummer show, but the one's I'd done previously still sound better, even though there's not a lot of low-end involved. I think tonight I'm just going to put up my previous edits of the tracks and just go with that for now. They don't sound bad, just more like they're being played on AM radio. Oh well...
