when good things are in small places
Went to Chanyeol appa's live cafe.
We arrived there early so we were the only ones sitting at the tables. There was also a VIP room and we heard people there, but that was about it. All of the other EXO symbols were added to the wall too. I remember seeing pictures before of only Chanyeol's flame symbol, but everyone else's was there too. Chanyeol's was signed and D.O's was signed, so I'm thinking that all the others would eventually be signed too.
About half an hour later after we ordered our drinks, Park appa showed up with what we assumed were family and friends. We were the only ones sitting down at the tables, so he walked up to us, asked us where we were from and then thanked us for coming.
There was a time where one of the girls working there was performing, and Park appa went up to the drums and started performing with her. So yeah, he can play the drums???
A friend of ours was also there so she could write about the cafe, so she went up to him to tell him about it and asked if she could take a picture of him. He held the magazine but before that, he was figuring out how to pose and came up with standing at attention with his hands to his sides. Park appa is silly too???
We ordered some food there, had the nachos, french fries, and fried chicken. The fried chicken was amazing, nachos were like cinema quality and the fries weren't bad. There were also alcoholic drinks and my friends bought a few cocktails. Park appa was behind the bar getting their drinks ready. So Park appa can mix drinks???
He was trying to explain to us about the people who would be performing, asked us if we've been to Hongdae because they perform at a certain cafe there. He seemed to understand a lot of what we were saying to him too. Park appa knows some English???
During one of the hours, he got up with the group he entered the cafe with, sat down at one of the stools and picked up the guitar to play with them. Park appa can play the guitar???
The people at the cafe were very friendly and some knew more English than others. The times when there weren't any performers, they were playing EXO tracks. haha. When we left, he actually saw us out too, stood near the door until all of us were ready and said bye. Park appa is a really cool guy???
That's pretty much it. I had a really good experience at the live cafe. Even if it weren't owned by Chanyeol's dad, I thought that it was a very laid back place to go to and hang out.
