This past weekend was the annual blueberry pick in East Texas - which meant an inevitable trip into Tyler - usually this is for coffee, this time to PetSmart for a new dog bed after Freya threw up on Loki’s bed and logistics ensued (holes in bed to be repaired before washing). ( Read more... )

Today is the holiday day off for New Year’s Day. I’m also recouperating from a long weekend at a convention. I did play with the Faber-Castell Grip Plus Ballpoint pen when one of my Sherpa inserts ran out of ink this weekend.

I had a lot of time to kill in the Baltimore airport a couple of weeks ago, so I did goofy shopping - some Christmas some not. One of the things I picked up was a Baltimore ballpoint & stylus pen in one of the gift shops - in green (the barrel, not the ink). I was rather surprised ( Read more... )

I know I’ve complained loudly about pen manufactures (BIC and Papermate, I’m looking at you) defaulting to larger and larger ballpoint sizes. I’ve been quite vocal about my love of fine points. I’m still NOT a fan of the default 1.0mm ballpoints. However… sometimes you gotta try ( Read more... )

This week’s review was a gift from Liz Burton of Zumaya Publications. It’s a higher end promotional, multi-function pen - that’s pretty spiffy looking. Liz called it a “writer’s” pen… and I can see why. It could be the Adler Crowne Triple Function Stylus Pen.
