I really hate Spring. I know that I say I hate February, but it's one of those happy misery sort of things. But Spring is just--gross. I hate Easter, and I don't particularly like St. Patrick's Day. True, I do get a bit of spring fever sometimes, and I'm sure by this time next couple weeks I'll be buzzingly happy just like everyone else. But the anticipation of March and April is obnoxious.
At least my tax return is looking pretty sweet, thanks to Ericaick's suggestion that I actually count the tens of thousands of dollars I'm borrowing for school. Go figure. I also recommend
TaxACT. If you don't mind clicking through a few advertisements their eFile is spectacularly simple and I was able to claim my education credits.
Mentioning to my mum last night that most of the money I got from school is already gone, she looked at me with horror and asked me where it went. Well, quite frankly, a fair amount of it went to her. I'm completely thrilled to be able to contribute money to her (because there's no way I'll ever be able to pay her back for all the money she's put into me) I'd like it remembered a bit more easily. Ah well, she knows. And I spent a ridiculous amount on myself for frivolous things. And I plan to maybe buy a Wii with the refund I'm getting. Which is stupid, but I want one! Tomb Raider! Resident Evil! Smash Bros.! How can I possibly be expected to resist?
In other news--yeah. I still have no idea.
