yucky

Gah. I feel gross. I'm hungry, I think. I don't have time to eat, though, because I have to work on an essay I have due tonight. We're doing peer reviews of our essays in my night class, so I have to be done by 6p. I have... from now til about 1145a, then I have two classes (three hours). After that, I need to go back to Vallejo to refill my medication. We'll probably pick up Ramil's paycheck while we're there.

I think I'll skip my history class today, just so I'll have more time for this essay.

Generally, I can write a serviceable (B-scale) essay in about three hours, but for this one, I need four outside research components. Two have to be books. I think I need to email my prof. He said that the essay doesn't have to be absolutely complete, considering it's the rough draft that's due, but it'll be hard to explain that I only have two or three outside research components instead of the required four. He'll be all, "WTF??"

Plus, this essay is really complicated. I'm probably making it more complicated than it really is, because I just love to do that to myself, but it seems to be all circular. We are to define a mode of writing using one text and four outside research components. However, you kinda have to analyze that text based on the mode of writing - which you can't really do until you have a definition! I guess that's why we need the outside stuff, to see what other people say, to narrow down what exactly we're looking for in the text.

I CAN'T WORK IN CIRCLES!!!

And I'm very tired. I couldn't sleep again last night. I went to sleep at about 230a. I was half-asleep for maybe forty-five minutes before that, practically delirious. So, I need to get working on finding some damn outside sources - because I've been at schoooooool and woooooorking all this time, dammit!

I'm going to ask Robin to give me Tuesdays off, since I work Mondays now. It'll give me time to prepare for my Wednesday night classes, which I need.

*YAWN*

I gotta go work on this shit. BYE!!

overworkedly yours,
mel
