Hello, journal.
I have not written in this journal aside of private, personal entries. I have found that sharing my deepest and most personal thoughts is not a good thing, for it can result in dramatic reactions from others on the network. This is no good. My business is my business, and people should not take offense or get up in arms simply because I state one thing or another.
This does not mean that I will cease making entries. Not in the least! I felt that I needed to take time away from a social situation to clear my thinking. I am more confident in my classes and in my swords instruction now; I am not hindered by others, and I feel that I am making progress. I am quite curious as to some of the things that have been happening in this area lately, yet I have not said much on the subject. I suppose that I will continue to watch what is said, and form my own theories.
I have written home many times to Beatrix, and she says that she misses me. I miss her as well; perhaps I will arrange for a trip home sometime in the near future.
