It kept me spinning non-stop.
Lots of mail.
Meeting about website redesign.
Medical records project.
Photocopying.
Mountains of filing.
Learning more about my coworkers.
From the last, I continue to learn how alike we all really are. And how quickly life changes. One is taking in the teenager son of her husband's estranged brother-in-law after said-brother-in-law got in a terrible car accident. One is faced with confront her mom about taking thousands from the account of her younger brother, a soldier based abroad. Another's brother's body is shutting down after neglecting to eat as a diabetic should. Another's mother is dying after surviving a triple by-pass and two forms of cancer and continuing to smoke.
We live in fallen world. We just like to pretend we don't. I suppose it gets people by.
I watched Triumph the Comic Insult Dog and played Risk with E and his best friend last night. Beforehand, E and I ate at Leann Chin's and walked around his neighborhood. Tonight begins a girls' weekend for my mom, me, and her friends. She's at a George Strait concert. I'm conducting correspondence and going to bed. Tomorrow, wer're going to a sleepover at one of her friends' house. It should be fun.
For now, I'm going to sleep.
