These are some of the buildings in Shinjuku, where my school is. Shinjuku is like the LA part of Tokyo.
This is an all-you-can-drink karaoke bar. Karaoke is cool here; you rent out a room with just your friends, so it's not *too* embarassing. It's fairly cheap too.
This is the group the first day, at a temple near school. There are only 9 of us Americans total :)

This is a ceremony we saw in Harajuku. A bunch of people carry this temple thing around while they chant...it was very interesting to watch.
