I like the Velvet Goldmine soundtrack enough I bought it at a time when the only cds I bought were written by Stephin Merritt. I particularly like this one because the music video in the film was so pretty.
Fall Out Boy - Bang the Doldrums
I know, everyone who wants this song already has it. But it's the song of the day anyhow because it was playing and I thought about the name and went "Wait, if this is supposed to be a song Pete wrote about Mikey and it's called Bang the Doldrums, does that mean Pete is calling Mikey boring?"
